We Celebrate Our Community

At Climate Youth Resilience (CYR), we envision a thriving global community where intergenerational partnerships foster climate action and resilience. Our Community page celebrates the incredible organisations and networks we collaborate with, amplifying youth voices and weaving shared wisdom to tackle climate challenges collectively.

We have a newsletter and CYR Commons for leaders of youth climate organisations and networks who want peer support, leadership capacity development, and good fun. If you are between the ages of 18-35 and are a leader or multiplier in your community, please reach out about joining the CYR Community.

We research and report on innovations in inner work across the globe, collect case studies, and explore responses to the impacts of the climate crisis on young people that shift the narrative beyond mental health, wellbeing, and mindfulness

Movement Building

Explore our global movement map of communities of inner-led change. If you participate in CYR, write us a message to feature your organisation on our map which connects youth and resilience organisations across the world. Click on a pin to see the different types of inner-led practices.

Our global movement map details the organisation’s name, country location, website, and focus area, and indicates their use of inner-led practices, what types, and whether they are interested in co-creating resources to support climate resilience.

Global entities are pinned in countries in which they are registered, only because the map needs a location. This in no way detracts from their global work and presence.

    CYR on Bridging Inner Landscapes

Join us in hearing what Bridging and becoming Bridgers means to us in different contexts. We hope to all become Bridgers and would like to hear whether you do too!

    Music and mindfulness

In this video, DJ and Mindfulness Initiative Board Member, Kareen Griffiths, chats with Cathy-Mae about her pathway into this expansive field.

"Can we reconsider our relationship with nature—not as something separate from us, but as family, as a relative. What might change if we saw the Earth not as a resource, but as a relative—a living being with whom we share a sacred relationship?"
- Yuria Celidwen

Bridging is the language of our time. A few members of the CYR Team discussed their experience of the Bridging and Belonging programme offered by the Othering  & Belonging Institute University. Join us in hearing what Bridging and becoming Bridgers means to us in different contexts. We hope to all become Bridgers and would like to hear whether you do too!

We kick off this section with a peek into music and mindfulness, a genre taking off as a way of reaching inside ourselves to process our realities and forge community. In this video, DJ and Mindfulness Initiative Board Member, Kareen Griffiths, chats with Cathy-Mae about her pathway into this expansive field.

Music, we know from our community, is present in so many areas of our lives and our cultures. It evokes memories, feelings and associations of cultures and communities. Please have a listen and let us know how this story and account of a contemplative journey through music lands for you.
